What does it take to move promising R&I results from innovation to industrial deployment? This will be at the heart of the 2DPLOY Final Conference, taking place on 22 October 2026 in Brussels, as part of the A.SPIRE Industrial Innovation Days.

After three years of work, 2DPLOY will bring together project partners to share the approach, experience and lessons learned from developing and applying an innovation pipeline aimed at supporting promising industrial projects on their journey towards Innovation Fund deployment.

The session will look at this journey from three complementary perspectives. Kristian Aas (SINTEF), 2DPLOY Coordinator, will present the project’s innovation pipeline, methodology, key achievements and outlook. Miet Van Dael (VITO) will share lessons from the 2DPLOY Advanced Masterclasses and their role in building proposal readiness among innovation owners. Simona Pace (RINA-CSM) will explore lessons from project qualification and validation, including the gaps identified and how these contributed to refining the methodology.

The conference will close with an open discussion on what can be learned from the 2DPLOY experience to accelerate future industrial deployment.
