LEADS Innovation Fund Webinar – Scaling Industrial Innovation: The Role of a Strong Business Plan
The successful deployment of innovative low-carbon technologies requires more than technical excellence. A robust and credible business plan is essential to demonstrate project maturity, attract investment and strengthen Innovation Fund applications.
On 9 June 2026, the LEADS project will organise a dedicated online webinar focused on the role of business planning in the preparation of Innovation Fund proposals, with particular relevance for industrial decarbonisation and CCUS-related projects.
The session will bring together experts from PNO Consultants and A.SPIRE to provide practical guidance on how to structure a strong business plan, develop coherent financial models and address common challenges faced by applicants during the Innovation Fund preparation process.
The webinar will address:
• Key components and structure of a strong Innovation Fund business plan
• Common pitfalls and best practices in proposal preparation
• Financial modelling and mandatory financial annexes
• Ensuring consistency between business and financial plans
• Practical insights to improve project bankability and investment readiness
The programme will include introductory remarks, expert presentations and an interactive Q&A session with participants.
