Seven SPIRE projects in CORDIS Results Pack on Waste Heat Valorisation

Seven projects funded under SPIRE cPPP have been selected in the latest CORDIS Results Pack! The focus is on clean technologies developed to innovate and promote methods and solutions to improve energy efficiency through practises of re-useing waste heat from process industry. TASIO, SUSPIRE, VULKANO, I-Therm, Industr3s, DREAM and Smartrec are highlighted in this Result Pack as cutting-edge EU projects reducing the impact of energy intensive industrial processes and untapping industrial waste heat recovery and valorisation potential.  

On a larger perspective, these projects, promoting heat recovery and storage, heat upgrading and heat to power conversion in different sectors, are helping Europe to transform into a sustainable, competitive economy, while addressing environmental and climate-related challenges.
