SPIRE Trends Report 2020
The SPIRE Trends Report 2020 - a new format of publication - is on A.SPIRE library. This SPIRE projects Report - first of its kind and that will be published every other year - offers a snapshot of the progress of the SPIRE contractual Public-Private Partnership projects from 2014 up to 2019. This overview navigates the SPIRE Partnership objectives under the EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation Programme.
In Chapter 1 the Report provides a brief and concise analysis of progress and trends SPIRE has registered in its projects in 2014- 2019 timeframe. It also offers a systemic vision on the major trends related to a portfolio of 125 projects supported by SPIRE from 2014 to 2019 and aligned with the 2030 SPIRE Roadmap.
Within this pool of projects, Chapter 2 of the report tracks outstanding performances from different portfolio clusters. Industrial-Urban Symbiosis, CO2 carbon capture and use and Digital clusters represent success stories in themselves and have delivered game-changing results in the Roadmap 2030.
The Trends Report 2020 also showcases how the forthcoming Horizon Europe Partnership Processes4Planet will build on the results of the SPIRE.
