European Industrial Energy Days

The SET Plan IWG-Industry will participate to the European Industrial Energy Days held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 12-13 March 2025.

Franz Hörzenberger, IWG Co-Chair and A.SPIRE Vice-Chair for Climate-Neutrality will  participate in the panel “Energy Efficiency: Where lie the opportunities? Where lie the opportunities and challenges in decarbonizing the energy portfolio?” that will be held on 12 March, 13:30 - 14.30.

The European Industrial Energy Days event brings together stakeholders from energy-intensive industries to exchange best practices and innovative solutions in areas like CCUS, hydrogen, electrification, energy efficiency, and CPPAs. With a focus on hard-to-decarbonise sectors such as steel, cement, chemicals, and paper, along with manufacturing and services, the conference offers valuable insights on managing energy strategies while staying competitive.

Over the course of two days, high-level industry representatives, energy managers, and plant operators will engage in exclusive networking opportunities and a dynamic programme designed to explore innovations that enhance business strategies and promote sustainability.
