THREADING-CO₂ was represented at the 76th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE), held in Mainz, Germany, from 7 to 12 September 2025, by Balamurugan Devadas from the University of Antwerp.

The prestigious event brought together leading experts in electrochemistry for a week of inspiring talks, poster presentations, tutorials, and an innovative new format – the Forum – designed to foster informal exchanges on professional development, publishing, and proposal writing.

Dr. Devadas contributed to the scientific program with a poster presentation in Symposium S11: Electrochemical technologies for energy and industrial scale. His poster, entitled “Improvement of anodic half-cell reaction for CO₂ electrolysis in zero-gap single cell” (session reference S11-P-004), focused on Ni F modification as a promising and cost-effective strategy for advancing CO₂ electrolysers to meet future industrial needs.

THREADING-CO₂’s participation at ISE 2025 underscored the project’s commitment to driving forward innovative electrochemical pathways for a sustainable carbon-to-chemicals value chain.
