A.SPIRE May 2026 Events: Shape the future of Europe’s Process Industry
On 26 and 27 May, A.SPIRE once again brings together the European Process Industry in Brussels for two days of strategic exchange, collaboration, and forward-looking discussion, hosting a series of events for the association’s members and stakeholders.
Members-only Events
Be part of the decisions that define what comes next
26 May: Working Group Workshops
A.SPIRE's new Working Groups will gather for a series of workshops focused on the new R&I agenda.
Our revamped Working Groups are a strengthened and fit-for-purpose structure designed to support the development and implementation of the next Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the future industry-led European Partnership (2028–2034). They have been in place since early April 2026.
27 May (morning): General Assembly
Our yearly General Assembly is exclusively reserved for representatives of A.SPIRE member organisations, who will gather to discuss key decisions and the strategic direction for the period ahead.
This is where alignment happens and where the collective voice of the association sets its course.
Open Stakeholders Event
Connect, learn, and be at the forefront of industrial innovation
27 May (afternoon): A.SPIRE Stakeholders Workshops
Location: DoubleTree, Brussels (Rue Gineste 3, 1210)
The afternoon will open at 12:00 with an Open Session, following a networking coffee break with members and stakeholders.
Our Executive Director, Ms Àngels Orduña Cao, and the new APG Chair, Mr Patrick Pammer (CHASE GmbH), will present a new Vision and SRIA for the future Partnership (2028–2034).
Ms Raquel Torruella-Martinez, A.SPIRE’s Innovation Manager, will highlight the value of the Partnership through innovation results from Processes4Planet projects and industrial investments.
After the lunch break, from 14:00, a series of parallel workshops will take place, including:
-
Integrating industrial electrification in the energy system, supporting its deployment in all symbiosis in European regions (organised by the SET-IndEU project, in which A.SPIRE is a consortium partner)
-
Final Conference of the Hubs4Circularity Community of Practice (organised by the two consortia of the H4Cs Community of Practice: H4C Europe and H4C ECoP – Processes4Planet projects).
